As well as its superior
timber protection, Ecowoowoil's Plant Oil Technology will
have a significant impact on your Wallet, your Health and
our Environment.
Simpler and Less Costly
Maintenance
Unlike other Timber Finishes
which leave a plastic film on the timber’s surface,
there is no need to sand back your timber between applications
to remove any eroded film. Recoating another brand's worn
plastic film without sanding means the new film will be
particularly vulnerable in areas where the old coat has
fractured, contributing to moisture capture and Wet Rot.
Sanding decks can also mean extra damage to the timber due
to punching in the nails that looked so good when the deck
was new. Rejuvenating your timbers is very simple with Ecowoodoil,
and requires no expensive and potentially harmful chemicals.
Not having to sand back between applications will save you
a substantial amount of time and money over the life of
your timber.
Longer Lifespan for your
Timbers
Due to the integrity of its
barrier and its penetration below the timber's surface,
Ecowoodoil will still protect the timber long after the
plastic film left by other Timber Finishes would have eroded
away. Of course, to keep the surface of your timber looking
new, we recommend an additional application to external
timbers every 6 months to two years, depending on the environment
the timber is exposed to.
Save Money by buying in
Cost Effective Sizes
Unlike most other Timber
Finishes using Synthetic Polymers, the natural oils used
in Ecowoodoil will not form a “skin” in the
can when it is stored for more than one application. This
allows customers to purchase Ecowoodoil in more cost effective
quantities.
Your Family's Health and
Safety
The Health and Safety Risks
from using natural plant oils are far lower than those from
Synthetic Polymer and Petroleum Distillate derivatives.
See our section on what
IS and more importantly what
is NOT in Ecowoodoil. We strongly suggest consulting
the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for any timber finish
being considered.
Better for our Environment
Ecowoodoil is made from 100%
environmentally sustainable ingredients that are often the
bi-product of another manufacturing process. Most other
Timber Finishes use synthetic polymers made from increasingly
scarce fossil fuels. A considerable part of our production
process takes place outside our factory - in living plants
and trees - using Solar power (Photosynthesis). This makes
them 100% climate neutral, because over their complete life
cycle they bind exactly the sum of CO2
that is set free during their eventual biological degradation.
